its filtered no matter how many times people spell it right it will still come out without the "e" unless they know some super "fancy" html to bypass the filter..

Youtube is a great site. Some people may find it more useful for their AMVs than they do the org. If you do, then good for you.

However, youtube has three main disadvantages as I see it:
1. It doesn't have accurate audio sync
2. You have no control over video quality
3. Your videos may be removed at any time

For these reasons the org will always have a place for serious amv creators. For high school kids and people who just wanna show a few friends their cool DBZ vid, Youtube is a fine alternative for them.

I agree... there are alot of people who I would only show off my vids to for various reasons

1. they aren't patient enough to download and they only like to stream
2. youtube code for videos can be placed anywhere... its good for my myspace fanbase, quick distribution.

but I think the .org is great too, i can download at 1700kbps from the local server, i love that. but most people can't do that and it'll take more than 20 seconds to download a large AMV
