Spies

Post by toff » Sun May 21, 2006 7:09 am

Hi, here is my latest AMV on witch I have made a lot of work.

It's based on the song "Spies" made by Coldplay. I originally planned to make a clip with some different animes (nearly 20-30 animes) and finally I used 94

I've got nothing more to add for the moment except that I hope that you will "feel" it.

I did. A lot.

Awesome concept, awesome use of effects and editing skills. This might even go straight to one of the higher ranks on my favorite videos list. I always loved that song (so I'm also a bit disappointed that you cut a bit of it off but everything else in this video pretty much makes up for it) and your scene selection is really astonishing.

I especially like how I can't put my finger on neither the storyline, the message or the genre of the video. And still all of this is very artistic and emotional. So yeah, this video would totally deserve to be shown on TV

Definitely an excellent video indeed, however... I don't get it... yet, I still think it's excellent, but it just doesn't make sense, you know? Hmm... yeah, I'll keep this, even though I do not like the song, and that says a lot :D

Good job! ;)

this was exactly what i needed after watching the last video i saw (which was horrible).

Toff, i don't know if you remember, but i went against you in the first round of Infinite Chaos a year or two ago. I liked your video back then, and i have to say, since then you've improved greatly.

Not much i can say except i enjoyed this immensely, and i will be keeping it.

Oh yeah I remember. Funny to see you again after such long time. :P

Yeah I get confused myself between the two concepts on this clip. I played with feelings and with spies in a strange way. :?

Left a QC, but I figured I'd post here too. I can't say much more that hasn't been said already (heh), but I could definately 'feel it'. The mood was just brilliant, and I adored the effect you implemented on the 'spies'. But yeah, I'm finding myself at a loss for words to describe this, overall, excellent video, very slick, and like Prod, this was a great pick-me-up after a round of not so great videos.

Definately a vid high up in my ranks

This video had some amazing flow to it. I'm not usually one for the free-form, multi-anime style videos, but I really liked this one. And the visual effects were original and well-used. It's thoughtful and innovative - a very nice video indeed.
