What am I doing wrong?

Post by fireemblem776 » Fri May 19, 2006 7:45 pm

I used the FF X mov program to rip the FMVs of FFX. And they came out fine, ecept for that one FMV that goes" A city dead for a 1000 years a city i had to see with my own eyes, the end of yunas journry" Is it my disk? ANd when i compress them in virtual dub mod, they go too fast. For any codec i pick. I pick lossless and compressed it and the clip plays super fast. Why?

This is a known issue. If I remember correctly, the DGIndex-AviSynth method for working with regular DVD footage corrects that.

This explains it:

You'll need both DGIndex and AviSynth. If you've installed the AMVapp, you already have them.

For the purposes of this, it'd be a simple one. Something like:

Code: Select all

MPEG2Source("nameofindexfile.d2v")
That's it. Just make sure to make the d2v in the same folder as the script (and preferably, the m2v).

I have no clue about X-2. I never had to figure that one out.
