(you need a decent presence in the forums to get noticed, and if you make good vids, people will respect you more... hence why i get no respect... )

It seems pretty simple to me. If you make good videos, you probably care about amvs, enough to put hard work and effort into them. If you care about amvs, you are likely to want to be involved in the community.Arigatomina wrote:The questions - Are they there because they frequent the forums? Everything seems so overcomplicated in this forum and Zarxrax is there to simplify, thank you humble man of words.Zarxrax wrote:It seems pretty simple to me. Yeah... but you could also care about AMVs and be antisocial, or think everyone here is a moron.Zarxrax wrote:It seems pretty simple to me. I learned from the list that I need to STFU. Though most of that is from a while back. Even so. O_o

Why post on the forum when you could be making amvs? Atleast thats why i have periods of forum absenses. I used to post the forum when i was at work but then they blocked it so i can only post when i at home. But when im at home i would rather spend my time making videos then talking about them just a personal preference

Re: AMV Creator vs Forum Presence
this is a perfect example of me.... my videos suck, but I post in here a few times a day :/anneke wrote:I've met alot of 'major' AMV creators, and then there are those creators who are 'big' on the forums. Some times I look at a name and want to remind myself what 'big' videos the person has made (and to remember if I met them or not), only to find out that despite a large forum presence, they don't have any videos I've heard of. Does anyone else find this happening, and abit interesting?
