How to Rip FFX-2 FMV's PERFECTLY CRYSTAL CLEAR NO LINES ETC

Does anyone know how to rip FFX-2 FMV's from the disc?
I know how to do it and all but when i get and play the video clips there are lines in the video. I've done other games including Soul Calibur 2, Drakengard etc and they worked excellent with no lines in movement it was exactly like on the disc. I'll provide some pictures of the FFX-2 FMV's ripped off the disc, just if people dont understand when i mean lines

ive done it 2 different ways first with the one which you mentioned and the FFX-2 Extractor

Well, to post pictures or to link them, you'll need to upload them to a personal webspace, or someplace like imageshack, or to a file transfer service (very limiting) like yousendit.

It looks like interlacing, but its pretty bad. I haven't tried ripping FFX/2 FMV myself so I can't give anymore insight as to why you are getting these results.

You can try to use DGIndex, then with AviSynth de-interlace the m2v footage using VDubMod and save it as an AVI file with either Lagarith or HuffYUV (I assume you will be using this for editing).

The ripper may not work right on PAL discs if it doesn't just take the MPEG-2 files (if you are working straight from the MPEG-2s, then use DGIndex+AviSynth to serve it into VirtualDub and cut the clips away/convert to a different format after running a deinterlacer). If it converts to a different format during the extraction, that would definitely be where the problem lies. As far as I know, though, some of those FFX rippers only work with PAL discs, don't they?

thats pretty horrible interlacing. put it into virtualdub, and under video, goto filters and add in a deinterlace filter. then set the compression to lagarith of huffyuv and save it.
might work, might not. interlacing that bad is rare
