Who are you trying to convince?

And Cornwiggle, you need to enhance your own ability to edit long videos before you tell people that they shouldn't edit down their audio. Case in point, around 2:15 into your video "Dead or Alive" the action really begins to drag. Editing the song or enhancing your editing technique may make the video more watchable for a longer duration; however, in general, it can be hard to maintain the "adrenaline rush" of an action video for more than 3 or so minutes. Therefore, in many cases, it is better to edit the song down if you want to use it.

1. Everyone :D

2. Matter of opinion. You don't like it? Good for you, I'm completely satisfied with that video and so are a lot of people, so I don't really care. :D

Yes, you are correct, it is a matter of opinion. But it just goes to show that your assertion is not necessary, and that your "arguments" only make you look stubborn. (See my response to your answer to 1.)

You are entitled to your opinion. However, when several people provide good arguments contrary to your opinion, your best bet is to either think about what they say, or shut up so as to not appear foolish.

Did you read every post here? I'm not saying they're wrong, I was giving my side of it. Reading is fun. And just for future information I am stubborn. :)

In more than one reply of yours, you are saying that people who edit the audio are wrong.

And it's good to not be so stubborn sometimes, or at least to learn when to stop vocalizing your stubbornness because it's not beneficial to anything.

I guess you must have missed this:
Yes, I know that there are all types of different vids. I myself like vids that are clips to a song, but I know other people like other stuff. But saying that EVERYONE should edit their songs is like me saying everyone shouldn't.
We were debating, not yelling out that we were both right. And every post I said "unless that's what you planned to do in your vid" but if you just cut it because you don't have enough clips or if you think the "vid isn't good enough" and cut it to save more work, then I don't like it.

As I said. Reading is fun.

I feel that if you can't use the whole song in an AMV (the ones that use only one song) then don't use that song.

Yeah and I forgot to add the part "to save yourself work" Too bad we don't have an edit button. Too bad you didn't gather what I was trying to say by reading all my posts.

Getting defensive because you feel threatened isn't usful to anyone.

When did I feel threatened? I was just putting in my opinion. I thought that's what this topic was for.

Cutting music due to lazyness is the sorce of bad AMVs. Just because you don't like a vid doesn't mean everyone else does, and that doesn't mean a song should be cut.
