How to make an AMV

Hello,

I've been downloading AMVs for quite a while and I was wondering what programs do you need to make them. I have indeed looked at the guides on the website. While I did download the items on there, I didn't quite understand on how to use them.

So can someone let me know what type of programs to download in order to make a decent AMVs?

I have windows movie maker and can you make AMVs on it? If so then how do you do it? Since I had tried to take a song from a CD onto the program but it wouldn't let me.

I want to know how to make AMVs over the summer in hopes to try and enter one of the contest on this site.

well I can't say that it didn't sound stupid, but anyway I will help you. To answer your question YES you can make AMVs in Windows Movie Maker. However it is not that great of a program, but its good for a noob. Read the GUIDES. They will help you out alot. Don't hesitate to ask a question on this site some one will help you. [/url]

WMM is NOT just for N00bs. The program doesn't matter, it's the ideas and the final outcome of the AMV.

i agree though i would like to add that WMM is good for Newbs in the sence that its the simplest, easiest to use... (when its not crashing every 5 seconds, or untill you want to do any kind of GOOD effects...) but I can get into arguments about the merits and downfalls of WMM later...

in the end it is a good program for newbs but i know of some pros that make it look good.

Do you guys know how to copy a song from a CD track to Window's Movie Maker? I tried it but it didn't work.....I've not gotten a chance to read the guides since I'm to busy still....
