Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

Because I'm too lazy to write about the AMV, here's a quote from the long ass creator comments:
When browsing the internets, I found a lot of clones of the infamous AMV Hell. People trying to take their stabs at this AMV hit and failing multiple times at it. May it be that the lip syncing was just off, they kept the subtitles in the footage, or the editing was just... autrocious.
and
UPDATE (4.30.06)
So the damned thing didn't win ;D But you know what, it doesn't matter that it didn't win because the audience reaction AND the people walking up to me after the AMV Contest replay saying I had an awesome AMV made me feel like a real winner. Who needs a plaque when I have the satisfaction of having like one of the coolest fucking videos in the contest :P

There's now the official MPEG2 release in 720x480 res. So now you guys can watch it in its... clean form.
Douzou.
