If I want to convert an AMV or mine to a reasonable sized Quicktime video to play on the iPod video, how do I do that?

If you don't want to pay for the way to costly ipod (I love apple, but whole ipod mania is getting out of hand) I can also reccomend iAudio X5. the X5L (L for bigger battary) version is simply fantastic for music, and can play video files for some decent long time, while being able to move files without and program, as opposed to itunes.

BTW, SOAD:I converted "All Eyes On You" to a format for the iPod, but on the converted file, the audio was out of synch with the footage. How do I fix it so the audio and video are in synch just like the original (the file it was converted from)?

I am assuming you are trying to convert a WMV file. Unfortunately, most programs seem to mess up converting WMV files. Your best bet is to either convert your original HuffYUV/Lagarith/DV AVI file.

OR

Use VirtualDubMod (and AviSyth) to convert the file into an AVI. Then put that AVI file into the conversion software. Yes, I know that some of the converter software (Videora) use AviSynth, but it seems that they don't do something correctly and audio de-syncs.
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Okay then, so if it's an older video, I'll just import the WMV into Adobe Premiere, then export it as an AVI, then open the AVI in VirtualDub to reduce it to 320 x 240, then convert it into the iTunes format. Thanks a bunch!

I got another question:

In Xilisoft or the other program:If you have the profile option set as iPod(30G) MPEG-4 Movie (*.mp4), will it still work on the 60G one?
