Yeah I used to like No Doubt. Tragic Kingdom was the last album I liked though. I guess they couldn't just stop after that... what with getting all that fame. But they were best when Gwen's brother was still in the band. At that stage, they weren't that great but they had more potential as a ska band. That's what I think anyway...
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

It's kinda comforting to know I wasn't the only person who noticed their fall from grace. I don't have any problem with a band going with what they want to follow even if I don't like it anymore. I just felt they all of a sudden started sounding 'cookie cutter' and looking that way too. Well, all except for the naked drummer guy...
It's mean to say, but I liked the music after the lead singer broke up with the bass guitarist (I forget their names) and her songs started getting thought heart wrenching.

I love Tragic Kingdom as much as I loathe Rock Steady. Can't believe I wasted money on that hunk of crap... at least my sister gets some enjoyment out of it.
It's not just the shift to hip-hop (I like very little hip-hop); it's the complete lack of feeling in the music. Rock Steady has absolutely nothing unique about it. It sounds like everything else out there.
Oh, well.
Good luck with the video, Valentine. And yes, the others are right. The song is called Hey Baby.

TRapped in a box of tremendous size

An ocean of dust and randomly strung together pieces of hydrogen, serving no purpose other than allowing all of us to continue in our misery, doomed to an enternity of petty squabbles and meaningless ego trips, until the whole thing one day explodes and starts the whole shebang all over again. - Chaos_Angel
