Quick comments

Quick comments are annoying.

Usually people just do a quick comment instead of an opinion.

That is why i think that we should just get rid of quick comments all together so there would be more opinions

I sincerely doubt this. We could probably dredge up numbers on opinions left, before and after quick comments. I doubt you would see a significant impact on the number of opinions, but it is possible.

Quick Comments were created so people could leave feedback without resorting to a full opinion. If there is any impact on opinions, it's likely to increase the quality of opniions as there's now a better way to leave a small amount of feedback.

I don't know if they should count as opinions themselves, but it might be kind of interesting to have a number appear on a vid's info page showing how many quick comments it has, kind of like the star count.

Why? They're not opinions. They are quite pointedly and emphatically not opinions. That's part of what a Quick Comment is. To be counted as opinions, they would need to have the numerical scores attached to them, at which point they are opinions - completely nullifying the point of having Quick Comments in the first place.

You already have the Star Count. The Quick Comment count would be somewhere between 0 and that number for any video uploaded after the QC system came out. Now..the only feature I'd like is a way to read the Quick Comments for a video which has fallen of my Recent Quick Comments list...so far I haven't found a way.

You can't view individual Quick Comments. You just go to a page that has all the quick comments for that particular video, I think. Even after they fall off the recent list.

No, you don't understand. I want a quick link to my View Quick Comments page for each video, rather than manually having to type in http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... d_id=96629 excpet changing the vid_id to whatever video.

Overall, I get far more information from quick comments than I do from opinions.
With a quick comment, people write 1 sentence. With an opionion, people write 3 sentences. Quick comments are way more common than opinions, so I get way more sentences from the quick comments.

well since people give out more quick comments then shouldnt there be a quick coment count like the opinion count?
