Few girls and women make amvs.

We can conclude that because few females make amvs, therefore they are less prone to go into IT fields.

On a more serious issue, making amv's requires a grasp of IT knowledge. A good majority of girls who know how to use computers know how to find and download mp3s, and an ocassional movie, although that's mostly a domain of guys for now. Girls still prefer going to the cinema's.

Most of my girlfriends know how to download, burn, and listen to their mps. But none of them know how to manually convert mp3s to another format such as .rm or to create a wave file. Getting to these steps or simply finding the curiousity to get there is less of a priority when youcould simply just enjoy the music you've bought or downloaded.

No, you should take IT because in an IT class, you're likely the only girl. As the only girl in a room full of geeks, nerds, and otherwise horny boys, you won't need to be "hot." IT does wonders for my self-esteem.

That's always the case with these techy girls... I reckon there's more "taken" girls in IT/engineering fields than ones which can't get a guy for whatever reason, but this is running away from the point of this thread...
