I leave a DVD under my pillow and the AMV fairy comes and makes an AMV with it in the middle of the night...

But it's interlaced up the wazoo and I end up doing it myself anyway.

At some point, an idea gets in.

Nine months later, after an exhausting and horrible term, the AMV is born.

Unlike real pregnancies though, it's possible to get knocked up again while the current bun's still in the oven.

First I watch a bunch of videos that are gay to remind myself what a gay video looks like then I make a video that is as far away from gay as possible. The resulting video is so ungay that it loops back around and almost treads into gay territory, but not quite. That's the way I make videos and if you don't think my videos are the best ever made, I'd have to say that you're probably gay or stupid. I'm thinking both.

Well, what I do usually is this:

Like Niotex says, I just do what feels cool.

1. Idea (or like a spark or something..)
2. Listen to the song a few times
3. Think up an anime, then I watch it.
4. Rip, rip, rip.
5. I set up the .avs'es, and clean up the source if needed.
6. Edit and make it cool as possible.

7. Encode, then release.
