blonde needs help again

ok when ever i play audio in premiere the audio comes out all choppy.it doesn't matter what audio file i have (.wav,.mp3,.wmv) whats the deal

Where exactly did you get the audio?

the audio is choppy when you view it [the project] frame by frame
so if you use the direction buttons to preview your work this will happen.
have you tried rendering and then playing?
(not quite sure what it is in premiere, but in pro it's enter to render and space to playback)
it could be that you set the audio sample rate to something very different than your audio source (like if your sample rate is set at 24000 Hz when your audio is really 41000Hz)
