5150 20th Anniversary

Post by RamonesFan2020204 » Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:13 am

20 years ago today, Van Halen released their legendary multi-platinum album "5150". This was their first album with Sammy Hagar, and their first album to hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The album eventually sold 6 million copies, and spawned tons of VH classics, like "Why Can't This Be Love", "Dreams", and "Love Walks In" just to name a few. This is the band's best album, and it's my #3 favorite album of all time. I plan to listen to it from beginning to end at least once at some point today. Happy Anniversary, 5150!

its a shame that all the members in Van Halen didn't die somehow before they decided to record that album

Why? Because there new vocalist didn't act like a monkey and steal the spotlight from the other band members like their original singer did?

I wasn't quoting you, because you didn't say it. I was announcing it to the world (read: this forum) because some people, like RamonesFan1234567890 just don't understand the pain and depth of repetitive double bass and drop D tuning
