Muteing video clips question

Ok so I final manged to upload so final fantasy clips for my first amv, and I got the music put it to windows movie maker then started to add clips, I know before when I made a project for school there was something you clicked to mute the sound that is on the video clips, but now I can't find the option anywhere and I got the people in the game talking over the music

is it still there or did it get moved (the mute option)

Bottom left, just above your timeline/storyboard, there's a microphone icon, clicking on this will bring up a bar with a dot in the middle. This is the balance between video sound and the added audio. Move the dot over to one side, and it'll give full priority to the music track, muting the video (I can't remember which side, but you only have two choices)

even easier. right click the clip and selet mute
Is it already 4am?....just 15 more minutes, then I'll sleep.

You'd have to do that for every single clip though, if I'm not mistaken. My way you do it once for the entire video.

very true, but when I use to use WMM. I ran in to a problem changing track priority. It didn't sound proper. But it may have been my system. either way will work tho.
Is it already 4am?....just 15 more minutes, then I'll sleep.
