Don't know how many people watch this forum, but I wanted to announce my newest video. It's a fun video, called Assault and Battery, with lots of whoopin's and some new-to-me effects usage. Oh, and by the way...
IT CONTAINS VIOLENCE!!!
Hope that gets some attention. Just click on my sig image to go and download it. Happy trails!

- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Oh, crud... You've got a good eye, I didn't even notice it. Going back and looking at my project files, it may be that or just bad inverse telecine. *slaps forehead* I'm not sure what step I missed, but apparently it's time to reevalute my processing techniques. Thanks for pointing it out.Willen wrote:re: video issue: Starting at 0:22, there are visible jagged edges, possibly even in the Trigun clip at the beginning, like a wrong field order or something. It comes and goes, so I'm not sure...

...can't think of anything else to say at the moment
I remember a recent thread with a similar problem. The problem was a bad resize.

also noticed some dot crawl starting at 1:21
I think it only happens with [some of] the trigun and InuYasha clips

Well, I didn't do any resizing, so I would hope that's not the issue. Although you've got my curiosity up after looking at that thread, so it's something I'll play around with. And man, I should start calling you folks Eagle Eyes cause I can never see dot crawl unless it's really serious, even when people post pictures. So there's one more thing to jot down on my list of things to tweak. And thanks for the info, every little step in the right direction helps with the final results.Kariudo wrote:I remember a recent thread with a similar problem. The problem was a bad resize.
