DON'T USE DOWNLOADED AUDIO!!!!! ARG!! WHY!!??
I have bought downloaded songs before from Itunes and have tried using them in videos before.. had to convert the audio but now it seems there protection souped up and I can't. I like the idea that I can get an individual song for 99 cents but I don't like the fact that technically I can't use that and I'm going to have to buy the entire album to use one song that I want to use in a video. I think downloaded compressed video is a lot more of a big deal and easier to notice but I know for a fact at least 20 of the videos in the top ten percent list has used fansubs or downloaded raws and even the videos have a good rating with the visual quality. I expected the rule to not download songs and use it was there just to get mainly the point across that we want you to buy the source u used and I'm betting most videos on this site use downloaded audio and are probably not a big deal that they are being used. My point is.. umm I forget.. am I wasting space with this thread. Be right back I'm going to go kick my ass.

Well you can always try the analog gap in the copy protection! Just record your stero mix or whatever your soundcard calls it while playing the music. Or taking a cable from your output right into the line-in on your soundcard. I've done that several times and the quality still is pretty good. However, I avoid this mess by still buying the CD. Even if there is only a few songs or one song I like, price is no concern to me. Just buy used or get stuff cheap with employee discounts
!
I won't download any music until they offer lossless file formats with no copy protection. Although I'm not holding my breathe since I doubt it will ever happen
! I hate iTunes, Napster, and all the other music download services. They are bloated, messy, and have DRM like no tomorrow. I like the ritual of trying to get the damn CD out of the layers of plastic and tape, (cursing while doing so
) ripping the music onto my PC, and then converting into whatever the hell I please ^_^!
Just my $0.02

I would like to get lossless through downloads as well. They should sell them like that online. DRM pisses me off like no other. I'm thinking of Droping iTunes.. it has been pissing me off lately.. I might just go back to sticking with CDs, but I hate buying albums for one song.. -_-anubisx00 wrote:Well you can always try the analog gap in the copy protection! Interesting...no major artists though. However, I've found some really good music so far. I love the high quality streaming of everything. However, I don't see a way to buy single tracks. What I find strange is you can decide what you want to pay for the albums. Thanks for the link ^_^!
