Man I'm really getting tired of bad endings to anime..... Let me name a few animes that had terrible endings.....

Cowboy Bebop: Ok spike died.... alright but what happens to faye and edward??? Does Jet still be a bounty hunter or what ....

Rurouni Kenshin: Do kenshin and kaoru get married do they have kids does yahiko bang that girl from the akabeko .....

Chobits: Do chi and hideki get married do they ever have sex or can they ever have sex because chi's on\off button is down their lol

How was Cowboy Bebop's ending bad? It ended better than...anything that I can remember.

I've never seen those other two series.

I thought the cowboy bebop ending was good.

Seriously, do characters' sex lives REALLY matter that much?

If you wanna bitch about one ending, bitch about MOST endings out there; any story worth its while leaves just enough open for speculation. Life NEVER has "Oh so neat tie-ups." It's good to leave things open, so that it can be realistic. Only with romantic comedies does having things tied-up ever work, but even then it's usually only the main couple that actually has their story completely ended... Love Hina, for instance; the epilogue in Volume 14 pretty well wraps up Keitaro's and Naru's story, but there's still Shinobu, Kitsune, Matoko, Su, and a ton others who's story is left open.

True, Kenshin had a bad ending... until the OVAs CAME OUT; then it was a masterpiece.

People complained abuot Eva's ending (it was pretty boring, admitadely), and then we got End of Evangelion... which only led to more questions after the fact.

The Big-O was the same thing... what we got from it was an ending just as confusing as the original, if not more, than the original, with questions still open.

Ranma had a fairly bad ending in the Anime - much better in the comics - but that's because it got cancelled.

Shaman King... well the creator went nuts and cracked under the pressure, ending the comic early, so that ending is better in the Anime.

Sorry to say, but in Cowboy Bebop, SPIKE is the protagonist; while other characters develop, they're only second-tier characters... their story is directly dependant on the main protagonist's, and once his story's finished, their's is... probably even before hand.

Forgot about that ending....
But you're right.......It's like he just cracked..... and it ended...
But cool series none the less........

They don't have sex. Read the manga, that's one of the big stipulations about them being together because doing so would reset Chi, effectively killing her. Basically, Hideki gives up having sex to be with Chi.

Go read the Demon Ororon, that has a great story and ending, but leaves multiple story lines wide open, only closing the main storyline.

Sorry; I'm in college right now. As big a part as sex is of my life here, we don't obsess over Anime characters' more than our own. I've forgotten what the minds of 14 year olds is like.

Berzerk - Gaaaaah! I know the show was cancelled.. but seriously ending with everybody dead, the girl being raped for eternity, and the main character stuck in hell is not a 'feel good ending'.

Escaflowne - "no I don't want to be a queen in a country where everyone will worship me. I want to go back to Japan and finish High School. ". "I'll call you".

Initial D (live action) - I just finished it so I'm adding it. Aaagh! Damm, wasn't she just the cutest girl on the whole planet? Also whats up with watching guys look like they are falling asleep during a race? I seriously hated the way they just dropped the girl.

Inuyasha - Closure people... closure. Pretty much every single thing in the show got no closure. Too many super powerful characters with nowhere to go.

Naruto - Cripes... just finish something already.

There are more but I'll leave the field open for others
