Hey-ho let's go.
I've been wondering for quite a while now if we could add, beneath the newsletters and interviews, a column section:
Chosen people could write a regular published article about a-m-v.org and the like.
what has to be done before is to decide on writers demanding criterias like these:
- good way of writing
- interesting topics that maintain a high entertainment status
- etc...
I would think it's worth a shot, so why not?

mmh, what was going on in my mind was that each week / month or so we could have an interesting article about current activities / topics that concern the .org, just like a real newspaper has its own column. What, exactly, would go in such a section? You're going to have to be more detailed.
While reading through the forum I came across some interesting writers that could meet my expectations.
there would be many possibilities such as a satirical article or one parodising things.
to give an example, I would think of something like like the fact that opinions shall become more objective but that their real nature is rather subjective, things like that, revealing paradoxons, writing about own experiences (simply look at a column in a newspaper, then you know what I mean).

Newspapers usually do it something like this:
Submit a column and a plan for 4 more (2 if monthly) and if the people who run the publication like it you can become a regular columnist.
Now the AMV newsletter didn't do very well last I checked but somthing that was more of an idevidual thing might be easier to maintain and the coding required would be minimal.
If I were to do something like this I would write a column on the impact of MEPs on the AMV community as this seems to be a hot topic for discution right now. What would distinguish this from a forum post is that it would be longer, more in depth, and would involve some actual reaserch.
Further columns would be about whatever people are interested in at the time, or if not much is going on, interesting topics such as: editing in Linux, software reviews, AMV trends, and editing tips and tricks.
If any mods are interested I might write up a few of these ideas.
