Maybe I'm going insane. i cannot see the edit button for my own posts? Where is it? In the FAQ it says this site has one. Maybe it has been elimiated and I do not know since this is my first time posting on the site. I'm still logged in so i do not see what's the problem.

I think I will answer my own question for anyone else out there.

It seems like you cannot edit in these forums. So does that me you can post more than once repeadetely in a forum in the case that you forgot something?

There is no edit button on this site
there will continue to be no edit button on this site
(you can dig through site feeback, you're bound to run into half a dozen attempts to get an edit button, all failed)
you can double (and even triple) post, but it is generally discouraged.
supposedly, the preview button erases the need for an edit button, but some mistakes are still made (some people don't use the preview, others just quickly skim over what they've written).

You also shouldn't expect people to answer right away (most people have jobs/school at this time)

yes, you can double post to include something that slips your mind.

it also is a great opportunity to curse the lack of edit button

You can only edit in a few forums. I forget which ones, though, because I never use them. I think you can in the MEP forum.
