Does anybody here play any instrument? If so, which one, for how long, and how good are you at it?

I started playing guitar 8 months ago (one of the reasons why I stopped making vids for some time) and it's going pretty well so far. An interesting thing is all the songs I used in my AMV's I can now play

. When I started to play them I suddenly grew fond of them once again. Oh the irony.

I can play guitar and Piano well, with guitar better than piano. After I read the music I can do a song, but I usually can't play a new song one the first read. I've won some small (30-40 person) talent competitions. That's about it.

Been playing bass for about a year and a half...I'm on a 5 string jazz copy fretless right now, it wins. I want a 6 string fretless though.

use to play trumpet/piano - not very good now but i like to play a piece or two on the piano in my spare time.

Piano for about 5years, stopped got bored of it, took up bass guitar about 3-4 years ago, quit it for a bit now I really want to get back into it, slap that baby around with Gutted, god damn Alex Webster is a god at bass.

I've played keyboard for a few years, and I think I was quite good at it, but I just didn't want to play keyboard anymore and so I stopped.
