Okay, I'll just admit this right up front, I'm a nOOb.
And I've got a problem.
I'm an intuitive girl, so mostly I can solve my problems with my compy with time and a little luck. This time, though, no go.
When a download a video, it says that it's moving it to a temporary file. That's all well and good, and I've done that before. But when the download is done, it goes straight to real player without the usual stop at winzip. It then takes more time to load.
Well, that's all good, except that sometimes it stops in the middle to reload. Okay, so it doesn't have to unzip and my poor, wounded compy (it's a veteran) has to reload it sometimes. That's not the problem.
The problem is, when I'm done watching it on realplayer, it's no longer there. What I mean is, it said it was downloading to a temperary folder, which is not there. I've looked.
I went back to the link I downloaded one of the vids from, and clicked it again. It told me I had already downloaded. Well, I know that. What I want to know is, where's the file? If I downloaded it, shouldn't it, you know, still be here someplace?
If someone could clarify this for me, I'd be really grateful.

Disappearing files
