  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Now that's a fitting picture. Somehow I get the impression JCD hides such things from use ;).

Ok, about the video: Like I said after seeing the beta you sent me it's a bit dark for being a happy video as the music might offer it but that makes a slightly difference to most of your other videos so it's not a bad thing at all even though the buildup of the atmosphere lacks a bit. The editing is good as ususal but you left out alot of possibilities to sync to create a smoother flow and I somehow think sync's more important. And somehow I got the impression that you used quite a bunch of masks and effects ant the beginning of the video and lateron you just left them out just as if you didn't have the motivation to do masks and other things anymore (or I'm just not able to see'em). But all in all a very enjoyable amv good to see you're open for new things and not just Dance ... ;)

Nah War hey you know my opinion to sync = better than atmossphere  .

Now for the video, sorry Stephan, I'm going to download it at 6th of Feb, since to this point my flat becomes active. I will leave another detailed comment then. I'm really looking forward to see this video. A JCD sentimental :D .

Yep, it does. I'm not really used to that kind of editing and the anime gave me lots of difficulties at scene selection as well.

About the synch, I don't think so. I heard those beats of course but synching some kind of flashes or something to them would have disturbed the scene. Maybe it's possible somehow but nothing right popped into my mind.
About the masks, I did try them here and there in later parts of the video, but the scenes I had there were much more animation-based so it would've been no good :P

Thanks guys ;)

this is the same that it was with your HC entry

your storylines get thiner, as does the video descriptions. well I'd recommend sticking with dance, even though this video has great flow and perfect synch and blah the obvious hollow stuff and so on

as zest mentioned this is different, your HC entry was too, but it's not different from the main style, which is quite wrong in my eyes (like "I'm gonna do a dance video with the same style I do my drama videos" would be wrong in my eyes, it's the same point)

for the sentimental category I gotta say this was more a definite mixture of drama and fun which doesn't neccessarily has to mean it's sentimental now. I think it missed too many "happy" illustrations/atmosphere to be a sentimental video.

it's why I still can't go with this style of editing no matter how many different songs are used, maybe I just got tired over the years. and no, I don't think this is a personal issue, since compared to Me Gustas Tu, you can clearly see a difference in the way of editing and scene selection (I'm reffering to it as one of the only few german videos that I enjoyed myself over the past months, or even years). So good video and everything, not my taste as always though, sorry.
