Yes...a fine mess we were in.
Thank goodness that Phade was able to sort it out.
We also got a nice header at the top of the download page...just to make things clearer

(I can't really see why someone would think that a band like Evanessence [sp] would be making amvs)

its a bit lengthy but mabye help get a better picture. And from a section i read that it can depend on the nature of the work (profit, non, or educational), copyright, how much a person or group can gain, and/or the amount of a copyrighted material in a peice of work as a whole.

A band making amvs? Hmm, could be a good marketing scheme. But that aside. How do so many ppl still not now about the Evansence/Seether/Creed thing.

yea, they are called Linkin Park (atleast one of their MVs)

and how people do not know is beyond me, they dont read their member's main page...???

there are lots that are still trying to upload, but I notice that the "links for this video are no longer avaiable" now link to the thread about it... good thing IMO

I wouldnt be too worried i mean the case was settled and well I dont think that the RIAA would fool with this site becuase they wouldn't think it be profitable to sue this site. But there is the thing about pariodes being protected but idk if it applies to this site?
