Looking For Partners
Studio G is looking to join with another studio, as we have realized that even though we are the best in a local area, we are not quite professional... in fact far from it. If you are a studio looking to merg or if you would just accept the idea please contact out leader at onicloudstrife@yahoo.com
also our latest video, one that truly shows our work will be up as of monday 01/23/2006. it will be an updated version of Crimson Eva

I imagine it may have something to do with feeling "professional" about it (I mean, as "professional" as a hobby can be); I also imagine that there are real advantages to having a multi-person production group (split website costs and all that, pool talents for collaborations), especially if the members live in fair proximity to each other.

I quote both Scintilla and Infinity Squared about this. This is basically why people give importance to a studio. The thing I sincerely do not understand, is why exists one-man studios, it's nonsense.Scintilla wrote:I imagine it may have something to do with feeling "professional" about it (I mean, as "professional" as a hobby can be); I also imagine that there are real advantages to having a multi-person production group (split website costs and all that, pool talents for collaborations), especially if the members live in fair proximity to each other.

mine Exists because I want to put my own name on my videos, and not put a "group name" on it maybe... I'm selfish in that way??Michele wrote:I quote both Scintilla and Infinity Squared about this. I think thats how most creators are. They want thier own name and logo on all of their videos so they come up with a studio name/logo for that purpose alone.
I think it works out where that way at a con viewers who recognize the logo will know the creator, their other amv's, and whether or not the liked/disliked his/her style.

In some cases, there are significant sexual benefits, as well.Scintilla wrote:I imagine it may have something to do with feeling "professional" about it (I mean, as "professional" as a hobby can be); I also imagine that there are real advantages to having a multi-person production group (split website costs and all that, pool talents for collaborations), especially if the members live in fair proximity to each other.
