using DVD footage

Post by Gallup » Wed Jan 18, 2006 10:26 pm

I am not sure if I am in the right spot but here I go.
In one of my latest video ideas I decided to use the anime Evangelion. I ripped all the eps (since I am not 100 percent sure what I will be using) and used a program to make the files into a smaller size that I could edit with. Now I know that everyone says that DIVX and Premiere don't mix but in the past I have been able to use several DIVX files with no problem. I tried it with my Evangelion eps and of course it chose not to work. Is there any way that I can make these files into something that Premiere will accept without losing ANY, or very little, picture quality?
