vegas zoom transition..

vegas zoom transition..
ello~, in Vegas Movie Studio 4, im usin the "Zoom Out" transition, how ever the clip zooms out really fast. How can i slow it down?

The speed of a transition depends on its length. Increase the overlap and the zoom will be slower.
Unless you mean to slow it for a stretch, then speed it up to finish in the same amount of time. Or maybe not complete the zoom at all. In either case, VMS4 can't do it. Vegas 6 (and v5, too, I think) have this capability of controlling the progress of transitions, but not Movie Studio. However, the Pixelan SpiceMASTER plugins for Vegas and VMS do have that capability.

Yeah, I own SpiceMASTER and my copy of VMS4 won't recognize it either. Their Web page says the VMS6 product is new, so maybe they never supported v4.
I suppose you could upgrade to VMS6 (US$40 for download).
Or maybe construct your own zoom using the cookie cutter and pan/crop settings. I'd have to think about how to do that. It's little tricky without keyframes.
