Gundam Vs. Eva ....Who will win?

just imagine if there was a battle between a gundam and eva. Who would you think will win. I think an eva will because simply of the eva's AT field, no weapons could penetrate it so the gundam would not be able to damage it at all.

An EVA seems bigger than a Gundam anyhow.Just the sheer weight would be enough to pulverize a Gundam.Plus the EVA could use that gun that required all the power in Japan.

I agree with u prince/mr psycho man. The evas are far superior to the gundams. Their AT fields are inpenitrable and their speed, strenght and manuverability can easily out match the gundams. But still the gundams are cool.

two horrible shows collide, what's the verdict? no winner! yes, because everyone knows that evas and gunams don't watch out for snakes or ride the lightning. so how in the hell would they learn to fish, let alone lose ten pounds in one night with the hollywood miracle diet?

OK... I don't normally comment on these... but I thought I would on this one.

The EVAs would win, no question.

No matter what universe we're talking about - Original Gundam, Gundam Wing, or G Gundam or Turn A Gundam... all Gundams are simply extentions of the idea of the military... they use missisle, cannons and machine guns... and a few energy weapons.

EVAs have A.T. fields which block off all that sort of thing... hell... an EVA can survive a nuclear explosion...

So... if you want a logical answer... it's the EVA.

I happen to love both shows... but they are completely different series.

but in the gundam's defense, the pilots dont go crazy or already are crazy or feel inscure, etc etc.

The winner I would say would depend. If it were say Rei in Unit 0 versus Duo in his best Deathsythe I would probably go with Duo. Why you ask. As soon as the battle began duo would automatically cut the power line and make sure that another wasn't plugged up, and naturally the eva would run out of power. Now we are all assuming that the battles would take place on Earth what about space? The Gundams would have infinite advantages. As far as sheer power goes the Evas would win but under circumstances the Gundams could win.

Ko Oh Yoku - Like I said... I love Gundam as well... but the premise of Evangelion is that the EVAs are untouchable by normal man-made weapons.

MAS - Even without their power chord, an EVA is fairly untouchable. Duo could then pound all day on the EVA and not a lot would happen. Sure...the EVA couldn't fight back... but it would just be like slamming your head against a wall...

Just using the "End of EVA" movie as an example... Asuka is comatose and put in Unit 02 for her protection. Why? Because though she is out of action and though unit 02 is not "active" it can still withstand all the shelling and bombing that the military can throw at it. It's the safest place for her to be...

Meh, Everyone is against the Gundams so far, so I shall root for the underdog...Gundams that is...

Sure the Eva's might have sheer power, but Brute force is not always the victor... Wing Zero, with the cannon could penetrate the shields of the power station, Duos gundam can just cut the power from the eva... etc etc...

or they could just grap the eva and fly it out to space and send it bye bye...
