I normally just go strait to the Super Search or to the Op Exchange forum if I'm looking for something to watch. If I see something in announcements and I don't know who it's from, I'll see if they're listed in the forum. It just seems like they take themselves a little more seriously if they go over there.

Same here, well mostly, since If I see Editor "X" made a new video I get interested since I might like some of his other videos and / or know him viva aim or #amv then I click the thread and check what it's about then it depends on how much I value the person the source combo or the feedback he already got. I usually don'T pay attention to the thread names, since most aren't really telling anything about the video. BUT I'd never click anything where there's something like "first video", "DBZ" or "Linkin Park" in itmexicanjunior wrote:Normally, the song and anime combo is what draws me in but knowing the quality of the editor can be a factor.

I'll not get anything for a few months, see someone I enjoy released a new vid, then download that and about 10-20 other random/recomended vids to get my fix (and to keep my average star rating down to a value that'a representative of the more common fare available here).

I download lots of videos from unknown editors, provided that I enjoy the anime and/or song, that they cared enough to write some sort of coherent video description, and that it's sitting at a star rating of over 3.3 or so. But I do admit that I'm drawn more quickly to threads by editors whose work I already know and enjoy.
