Bleach - "Broken Covenant"

This is my newest AMV to the popular Bleach anime series. It's a character profile of Kuchiki Byakuya, and as such contains a lot of MAJOR SPOILERS for the Bleach anime around episode 52/53 on and the bleach manga around... 148ish? on.

"Broken Covenant" is a character profile of Kuchiki Byakuya from the Bleach anime. It's only a minute and a half long, but I am still quite proud of it. The music is the last 1:34min of Limp Bizkit's cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" and the only episodes used to produce this video were 52-53, 54, 60, 61, and 62. There are no subtitles.

I thought it was really good. Different to most Bleach videos and it was quite subtle (to me) the way the video was linked to the lyrics. I liked the style of having the whole thing seen through 'eyes'.

And, hey, I had to watch it because it didn't have subtitles!

Thanks so much for commenting! XD And yeah, I noticed most Bleach vids here tend to have them, so... best to point it out

I'm glad you appreciated the lyrical sync up, though, I'm always worried if I'm going for too much Deep Hidden Meaning(tm) or the extreme other end of the spectrum. Out of curiousity, which file did you download?

I got the MP4 file. Ran perfectly with my usual Zoom Player + ffdshow. I'm impressed with the quality you can cram into 12MB! It was far better than most of the 90MB+ MPEG files I've downloaded.

I know! It's quite an amazing little codec!

I'm hoping more of the community starts having the decoder on their computer, too, so I can stop making enormous AVI's to maintain the same quality. (12Mb vs 51Mb? ... yeah)

Good stuff, spot on synch. I loved the feathered fade-ins. Would've loved to see a longer version, though.

Unfortunately, the song wasn't any long than that or I certainly would have made that version

My next Bleach AMV, though, will be "feature length" as they say

hehe great quality on the mp4 ^^ i checked it out cause that poes his post got my attention. anyway im glad that i did this is good stuff i realy liked it. Its near clean solid editing and with solid i mean good no fancy useless stuff in there. I liked the idea of the eye as i guese thats what is it =P I'll also look forward to a full featured one. I'll leave a op on it if i remember to do so tonight.
