I am referring to the bitching and drama that inevitably will occur before and after the event. It's amusing, but it's also annoying.

This post, ironically, may very well fall into the above category of text.
I know that... But then again there that will always follow anything done here.. on the positive note, a log of good videos get noticed and people download and watch from the nominations...

There is always a good side to things too

I guess Outlaws Don't Stop is out of luck then. :? Darn it why did it have to be Creed? Oh well there is always next year.

Also another thing is it is going to be tough this year. I keep a folder of just amazing amv's that I've seen at cons or have downloaded in contest I've ran this past year and I have close to a 100 amv's that I would consider for nomination one reason or another. 2005 was a great year for amv's.

You can always make a forum thread to promote the video (when the VCA board opens up again, that is) and post a link to a downloadable copy of it there.

There's the VCA every year but I asked to myself too why still it isn't began. The last year I think it started on December and ended on March. But I'm not sure of what I just said, I only tried to remember >_>

Frankly I am hoping to see that people might actually put a little more thought into the selections than last year when there were huge debates over blatantly wrong categorization simply because of checked boxes and fanboys of popular shows.

Some things simply should be obviosu like a random example of Waka Laka (for Osaka) is not a drama video and it is not a no effects/simplistic video. Last year that is the kind of nominations that would occur.

Out of curiosity, will there be awards sent out this year?
