Classic AMVs Weekly #3
This is late because of Christmas, but here it is.
Classic AMVs Weekly
Number 3
-----------
OK so, I am pretty sure that almost every old AMV fan has seen this video, but I want to make absolutely sure that the new generation gets a good dose of it too.
Lostboy - Rhythm Animation
Video: Various
Song: Two-Mix - Rhythm Generation
This video, in short, is constant motion. The first time I saw it, it literally made me slightly motion sick. But I just couldn't get enough it it. It's another one of the earlier AMVs that I ever saw, and it's definitely one of the ones that got some of the most play time on my computer. I also make a point to play this one at Archon every single year.
------------
If you have any ideas for a video or editor to feature in this column, email me. That's not say that that I don't have plenty of ideas of my own... but I don't wanna just sit here and spew forth all the AMVs that I like. There could be some I've never seen, too!

Oooooh, that AMV needs to be viewed full screen with the lights off to maximize the epileptic siezure and motion sickness effects!
I've always loved his AMV Video Girl Ai: The Fall

This video is tied at the top of my opinions list, but I think if you wanted "classic", I would have gone further back and picked either
Hungry Like the Wolf or
Thriller (Camcorder-VCR) or
At the Beginning (also tape-to-tape).

Yes, another awesome vid. I remember that my tolerance for JPop wasn't nearly where it is today, so at first the music annoyed the heck out of me (well, I also don't really like Two-Mix either, which is probably the real reason).
Man, me being here nearly a year before the advent of the Carrot/Donut really helped me see all these videos, even if I wasn't necessarily around when they were released.
