Minimum Donation for Benefit?

Hi hi. ^_^ I'd like to donate to the .org, figured I can afford to toss at least a few bucks to the site since I'm getting some Christmas money. My question is... do I HAVE to do a minimum donation of $12 like on the chart, in order to get the benefits of those pesky screens leaving me alone, no wait period for downloads, etc? I don't really care about having the title of Contributor or Donator or whatever, I just want to know if a smaller one-time (for now at least) donation of, say, $5 would still make a positive difference in my vid-downloading experience or not.

I'm pretty sure that there is no minimum donation ammount.

There is a minimum but IIRC it's absurdly low. I think it was a dollar or something like that.
