De-interlacing problems

Post by Prodigi » Tue Dec 20, 2005 12:10 am

Ok, most of the animes i have ever used have had some form of Interlacing which i have been able to remove. However, i am currently working on a Trigun video, and for some reason my footage is near impossible for me to configure to deinterlace. I ran it through DGIndex and have been told the video type of the footage is PAL, the frame type is Interlaced (obviously), and the Field Order is Top Field first (although when i use the CheckFieldOrder script and compare the two, i find there is absolutely no difference between using top field order or bottom field order).

I've used a variety of different Deinterlacers in occordance to Absolute Destiny and Ermac's guide, but have come up with nothing. I don't know why i'm finding it so hard to work with this footage, but i am. Does anybody have any suggestions?
