i cannot upload my video it say access denied

i went through every step, i put the dates, the anime, the song, and everything was fine, i went and request to upload the file, i was given a username and a password, i enter the ftp server without trouble, but finally when i try to upload the video it always puts me an error, access denied, and asks me to see if i have enough prevelages to upload this video. shouldn't the password and the username given have that privileges, what should i do to upload the video.

try turning off the firewall on your computer while uploading.
Norton products have also been known to mess things up.

the other thing is that your file could be over 100MB, in which case you'd have to compress your file (maybe re-encode to get it smaller), or request permission to upload the big file

Do not "compress" in the sense of making a ZIP, RAR, 7Z, etc. We don't like those much.

sorry bout that confusion.
I meant compress meaning make the file smaller
which pretty much means that you'd have to re-encode your final product (I think)

thanks but i doubt that is the problem, i use mcafee not norton and my video i 50 megas i checked that before trying to upload
