Well, i have to say, i'm very proud of the fact that i haven't made anything with Linkin' Puke. I do make videos with rock/metal songs, and also a lot of punk songs, but that's because i like that kind of music, and i try to fit whatever i make to the music. I usually don't try to make something populair, because that's not my style. I make things because i like them, not because i want other people to like them. Sure, it would be nice if people like what i make, but that's not the reason i make AMVs.

People can like whatever they want, and sure, i'm sick and tired of all those Linkin' Puke videos, but if people want to make them, that's up to them, i'll just never watch them.

Go to your profile and then go down to where it says browse....though there are restrictions. There are threads for these just look for em.

Linkin park is a good band but the fact is they are overused. I mean 4,000+ amvs made with them. That shows newbs depends on em a little too much.

An avatar is a picture that YOU already have on your computer, or that is hosted online. It has to be 80 x 80 and under 6kb. Go to your profile (look up, where it says profile, and click on that) and at the bottom of that screen you can upload your avatar from your computer, or you can link to where it's hosted online. Also, when you have questions, try going to the site guides (on your member main page), the FAQ (Also on the member main page), and then if those haven't answered it, post a thread in the Site Help section of the forum, it'll get answered quicker there than it will if you just post in random threads.

my 2 cents.

the prevalence of linkin park videos isn't the result of newbie editors obsessed with linkin park and unwilling to try other bands (with some exceptions i imagine), but rather the fact that median creator has made 1 or 2 videos, and not really knowing what to do, chose their favorite band (linkin park being popular for the demographic makeup of this site), experimented, and entered it on the org.

I think people use songs from evenescene and linkin park not necessairly for any specific reason other than the lyrics from their songs fit for almost any anime, and land both are angry enough (most of the time) to make mindless action videos.... o.0
