excuse me but i read it and i think my problem is the uploading part and a link for my video how do you upload it?

You don't need a link for your vid.
when you finish the uploading process a "local" link will be created

does anybody know what all is needed for making an AMV? what software/hardware is needed? my friends and i are planing on making one, and we are not sure what to do

If you're just starting out, and you use Windows, try playing around with Windows Movie Maker. It's a pretty simple program, and I think a lot of people find it as a good starting point. Then you can look through the Software List sticky when you're ready for something a little more advanced, (and a little more stable...) Good luck.

Miho, you should check the "how to guides" on the member page. Basicly you will need a computer with a dvd drive to rip video clips. You will need ripping software listed in the guides to do this. Windows movie maker is already free in windows xp and though not the greatest software isn't to bad for making an amv. another way to get video clips is to have a video input device, some hook to usb or firewire and some are internal cards or in the video card like my ATI all in wonder card.

Really check the how to guides, they have a huge amount of knowlege there about all things audio and video.
