Yeah, this is something I'd really like to know as well, mainly due to scheduling issues this weekend. :/Moonlight Soldier wrote:Anybody know when they'll be screening?
I've checked the site, as well as their forum, and no word yet to the schedule, which is somewhat disappointing since it's a day away.

I did see a couple comments that they may be just handing out a schedule at the door tomorrow morning, but it would be nice to get a little confirmation on that.

Darn, still nothing?
I guess I'll head over there now and try my luck. I don't think I'll be able to come in tomorrow, so it'd better be today. I know the AMV panel is at 3.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

No, that's just the discussion panel. I'm one of the speakers there - so... yea.Kristyrat wrote:This being the showings? Hrm, I think I'll try to pop over today as well, though I have no idea where anything is, hopefully I'll catch up with someone there who can give me more details on the timing...Otohiko wrote: I know the AMV panel is at 3.
The con last year had the AMV showing between 1:30 and 2:30, which was just in the middle of their big contest block (not just AMVs).
I'm heading out in about 10 minutes, be there in an hour. I hope it's today. If it's not... I'm gonna have to beg and plead some of their administration at the panel to like... let me in just for the contest tomorrow. I honestly can't afford to go both days

Ahh, right, gotcha. hmm, so I guess I'll head out around then, apparently there may be schedules by the door, and if the contest isn't today, I'll prolly just stick around for the panel anywayOtohiko wrote: No, that's just the discussion panel. I'm one of the speakers there - so... yea.

Sooo, I can't remember all that was shown, though I estimate maybe 10 of the 34 amvs submitted were screened. I shall try to list which I remember.
FallChild's Puttin' on the Ritz (got laughs)
Zanmato_666's Air Requiem (was cute :3)
Rollthestampede's Hikaru won't lose
Toff's Khan Onji (got laughs)
Buma_808's Do ghosts dream in ones and zeroes.
Toff's Requiem for a cowboy (was watched intently)
Otohiko's Mama (got....WTFs) runner up for most original
Toff's Animes for Humanity (got many a laugh) runner up for composition (I think)
Rollthestampede's Azumanga or Die-oh (MANY laughs) runner up for most technical
Istiv's The Race, won every category
I don't think I missed any.

...
Bum's (?) Ghost in the Shell video
...
Unless Bum has a GitS video that I missed...
I hope so, would have loved to have been there to see the audience's reaction (but there is a very LARGE expanse of ocean and also a LARGE expanse of land between me and AC3). Thanks for the listing!
