Dueling Banjos

Post by beau kang » Tue Nov 01, 2005 7:48 pm

I've had this idea for the song Dueling Banjos. Basically it takes a few different animes and has it all as like an eating contest. Kind of a comical rendition of the song that escallates into an all out food fight.

I would do it myself, but I don't have any means to clip out characters like in Tainted Donuts and have them all flinging pies and stuff at each other. If anyone can do this, I think that it would be pretty funny.

Dueling Banjos is pretty short...

You could always use the eating contest from Champloo (Fuu against the men) as your base. Possibly Miaka (Fushigi Yuugi - always eating or has something stuck in her mouth) vs. Fuu.

This can be done creatively without having to do the cutouts and masks you were talking about.

Interesting concept...

I just thought there could be a lot of DBZ, some Love Hina, Excel Saga, and a few other animes that have some comical stuff with food. I'm just not sure if I can do it with Premiere or not.

Yeah, you can do it with Premiere and Photoshop. I did my crossover vid that way, and it worked out pretty well. Just don't select scenes that you have to do a lot of frame editing to. That would increase your workload on the project.

I guess that I have some research on my hands. This is going to take a while to do, isn't it?

My Sesshoumaru vid took a couple of weeks of on/off work, but I don't know how much you intend to do with it. You can accomplish a lot with creative editing, or you can go nuts and make something as intensive as NarutoBallZ (a good watch, btw).

Let me know when its done!
