Rewatched the WHOLE Eva series, I feel sick

the end of the tv series did suck

and the best episodes were by far the fight with leliel, the fight with bardiel, the fight with zeruel, the fight with arael, and the fight with tabris

Try watching it with the comentary, it might help a little. Go watch Excel Saga or some thing eaqually pointless and you'll fell better.

I did watch it. I learned from D&R that it really does help clear up a lot of stuff. I'm really quite thankful for it. I'm still a little foggy on some parts, but much better than before. Hey think about it,what movie have you ever been totally clear on the whole thing. I guess before I was just posting how I felt after I watched it the very first time.

erm... ok, no offense, but the first time i watched end of eva i was like.. dood, everyone said that was gonna be sooo depressing, but the end was relatively uplifting. I mean... ' it will be alright, there are chances to be happy everywhere, anywhere can be heaven if you choose to live. as long as the sun, moon, and earth exist, it will be alright, it will be alright'
... what the fuck is so depressing about that? o.O
at any rate, I've watched EoE probably 10 times since I got it a year ago and I rather enjoyed it. The best part I think is the fact that the entire eva series builds up this air of mystery and catastrophic awe around third impact and the visual of it that we get in End didnt dissapoint me one bit.
Anyway, from the 9th to the 14th of this month I had a friend watch all of eva with me and i gotta say it was pretty cool.
jeez. U people need to have a suicidal girlfriend, then u'll know wut its like to feel brainfucked

No offense taken. I guess I was feeling down because I just wasn't clear on some parts, especially the ending.
SPOILERS:
I couldn't figure out if Asuka and Shinji were the only ones left, or did everyone else come back. And I would've expected Asuka to say something nice at the end, to Shinji. But that didn't happen.
Something that freaked me out, and made me sad were the scenes where Shinji is a little kid and he's building a pyramid. What were with those dolls?! And poor Shinji is all alone, as a kid.
And then I got really confused when the live footage started. The only thing that re-assured me that I was still watching the right movie was the voices of Shinji and Rei.

But this will all clear up in time . I hope...

Personally I usually skip the scene with the sandbox when i watch it just because its so time consuming and pointless

and heres what happened at the end:
asuka and shinji are the only people with their bodies in tact, probably because they were the only two in evas (even if asuka's did get torn to shreds). The rest of everyone is sort of floating around earth's orbit, although as rei says toward the end, they can restore their bodies if their minds find their self image again and such. If they decide to reform themselves, they will be restored. As for asuka, heres something stupid, some people have said that its not really asuka but a combo of all the eva girls, because she has rei bandages and misato eyes. False. If you look closely the bandages are on her left eye, which got shot out by the lance of longinus, and her arm, which was split open by another lance. Her eyes are only tinted brown because incase you didnt notice, everything around them is brown and red. The whole "i feel sick" thing wasnt even in the script, asuka's seiyuu ad-libbed it.

well I just watched the eoe dub, and I gotta admit. For some reason watching the clearly translated dub was much more of a mindfuck than the bad english subbed hk version. Maybe because the dub voices have more of an effect on me (I watched the series dubbed, so eat me ) maybe cuz the bad subs left more to the imagination. Anyway, I relatively enjoyed it
I guess, 'how disgusting' is another way to translate 'i feel sick' although I always figured asuka meant she felt sick cuz of.. wutever, not shinji sickened her. But whatever. I liked the

Ya, I know, i didn't pick up the cosplayers the first time either. Then it just sorta hit me.

Actually, when the live footage started, I thought the movie was going to end at the end of those shots. Like that Simpson's episode where Homer comes into the real world. At it end with him going into a bakery. You know, something to make you say: "ok... that's it, where the ending?", but then it came back to Shinji and Rei. And I was all "Phew! That wasn't the ending".

And, I think Shinji have some obsession with strangling Asuka. He likes doing that.

I don't know, I've always understood eva a lot more than all of my friends.
I watched all of the series, then EoE and then D&R and then I started feeling a little sick.
