- Marillion (best band of the world, of course)
- Mostly Autumn (best singerine of the world in an awesome young band of progressive rock, with pink Floyd inspiration )
- Porcupine Tree (best band in the progressive rock actually, with the best producer/mixer too)
- Pain Of Salvation (best progressive metal band, with an excellent singer called Daniel Gildenlow)
- Blind Guardian (best album of metal in general with "Nightfall in middle Earth")

I guess mine would be Barenaked Ladies

The runner-ups (in no real order) are The Guess Who and The Pillows

Those are all excellent bands.

Porcupine Tree are certainly one of those bands that not only gets regular, but daily spinnage out of my massive collection.

the Sound of Muzak may be one of the greatest songs written ever.

Seriously.
I fear the little people.

Chicago is my favorite band ever. They have amazing versatility and musicianship, meaning they can play music ranging from ballads to funk to rock, switching between modes seamlessly. And they do it well. Good stuff indeed.
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

I just recently became a fan of them, but there style is so much like me.

Kamelot. I've heard their epica album and every song I liked. I really enjoy their music, and the singer isn't too bad. That's where I felt the band could be improved, but mostly they are my favorite band.

(Which is odd because normally I listen to techno...)
Why do people complain about things? Why can't they just be happy that they were made for them?
I respect everyone's right to not like something, but complaining about it will acomplish nothing...

It was just a guess, and he happened to be wrong, leave the poor man alone.

I think I already posted in this thread... but I can add that the Hold Steady are also my favorite band. (Previously mentioned was Beck)
