didnt know where to put this...[download wait time?]
...but any way i got a reccomndtion.
simply why is the download wait time TEN whole sceonds???
its to long to wait when your siting at work, and you have to try and hide a webpage for ten whole seconds. It gets risky, man.
please change to 5 seconds. Better for the masses.

Anyways, there is some delay no matter what. If you're a donator, then its only a second or two for the file to be retrieved. The longer wait is to encourage you to become a donator.
Believe me, I went through a 4-5 day period awhile back when my donation status ran out...NEVER AGAIN! That was painfull going from instant downloads to all those delays.

Re: edit button
That topic has been dicussed to death. You can search the forum for the past dicussions if you feel the need to review >that< argument.
There are a couple of topics that do allow editing but you're pretty much stuck with whatever you have once you select 'submit'.
You can preview what you're posting. In your case, I'd highly recommend it before you pick up the moniker of 'Shinodude lite'. (Or would that be Shinodude lit?
) If you don't know who Shinodude is, stick around or read journal entries.
Misspelling a word or bad grammer can be lived with once in awhile, but making a habit of it can draw bigger trouble than NME2 was yesterday.

The correct term'd be "shinodude liet." ;P
and yes, when you said you had a job I just about choked. Despite the fact that this forum is about audiovisual stuff, good spelling will take you a long way around here.
and as for the topic, donate. Doesn't cost much. Then consider Ritalin if you can't handle ten seconds.

Who said anything about having to leave?
Despite your claim to a title of 'IT supervisor' or some such, I get the impression you probably haven't reached your 22nd b-day yet. (I've got a 'kid' who's 22 that works for me...lives with his folks and has a sheltered life.) I've seen it too often where young people just haven't figured out yet that everything comes with a price. Its all a matter of priorities.
I drive a POS car, but travel a lot. I've also got the fastest available residential broadband service and pay $$$ for it.
The site asks for a small (by my standards) donation in exchange for a few benefits. The donations are what helps us keep the site going. Nobody has ever said donate or leave. The not having to wait IS one of the perks of donating.
