Error when trying to leave opinion

Lately I've been getting this error when I try to start writing an opinion for some AMVs.

"ERROR: You must download and view this video before leaving an opinion."

I usually download by DIRECT link if I can help it. The two videos that I tried both have LOCAL links as well. Perhaps this has something to do with the problem. It might think I'm trying to write a review without seeing the video because I never downloaded the LOCAL video.

Is there any way around this?
