BTW, do either of you happen to know if AE has a feature SOMEWHER on it where you lay out a clip, go to the middle of it and cut it? (like premieres razor feature)

It seams almost impossible to create a full AMV with AE without some kind of razor feature.

That's because AE isn't meant for compositing. Some people use it that way, but I don't see how they can. One videotrack (layer) in AE has always got the same video source for the entire composition. You can't put two clips on one layer (far as I know).

The closest thing AE has to a razor is splitting a track. It allows you to cut one track in to two with one track showing the video before the cut and the other showing the video after the cut (the opacity is set to zero where the video is not shown). Use edit>Split Layer for this.

Well That does actually help! Thank you very much.
I guess I'll compose the meat of the video in Premiere and then add some this and that to it in AE. THANKS A LOT
A really do appreciate your help ^_^

Thats precicely what it's meant for. I think you are confusing "compositing" with "editing".

You're right. Not compositing, editing. Sorry.
