The original operatic/symphonic metal band is Therion tohugh, they're far more complex than nightwish and mroe epic, but less romantic. www.megatherion.com

Yes. There's a difference between being narrow-minded and not liking something. As stated earlier, you hadn't shown yourself to be anything but narrow-minded. Over the course of my stay here, I have. I've heard one Squarepusher album, Hard Normal Daddy, and it was more repetitive than most crappy death metal. And I've heard Aphex Twins which, while considerably better, still was nothing spectacular.

So is that talent to you? Play something as fast as you can, as much as you can, and milk it for what its worth? Shit, I've seen a lot of talent in death metal, but you make me ashamed to like it.

I find this to be a huge uneducated insult mainly to Tuomas and Jukka. Both of whom EXCELL in their respecitve insturment playing fields in this band. Emppu and Marco, while not exactly standouts, are also a far cry above average.

Tarja... ok? Someone who can pull off the vocal and type arrangements she does with such ease and grace is NOT "ok."
