Its just too strange. FLCL is close though.

FLCL was strange sure, but in a way I liked, I would go so far as to say that it is my favorite anime. Akira is another one I liked, but I think it takes the strangeness cake. If futuristic motor cycle gangs weren't bad enough those three little kids and Akira just throw it well off the deep end. Oh yeah, and Mahoraba hurt my head.
