I've done editing for a solo artist in California, that was about 2 years ago. Also I've done editing for a local band here in Maryland called Crimson Orchid, there a decent local band I give them a 7.5 out of 10. Then I've had other local bands around here as me to edit videos for them to get there music out there. So I like what I've had heard so far I'll listen to your music so more and will get back to you.

Hmm i was thinking i would do one for you because it sounde fun but then i look at the pictures at the site and i must say the whole band looks like fags except the singer. As i am a total metal freak i must say no to this because no one has long hair and that's import in metal for the image. So no way i'm doing this.

Then are you saying one of the greatest metal bands in my opinion Metallica are fags. Obviously there lead guitarist and bass guitarist have long hair. At least they did unless they have cut it off. Still the point is it doesn't matter if the band members have long hair or not.

Anyways I've just finished listening to your music I have to say that I like it. Do you have the full version of demos available. I'll take a listen to them again and I'll consider about doing on in the future.

Yes Metallica are fags!!! But they havn't always been that. Like on their first albums in the early days, there we are talking metal. But now man look at them they really look like fags.

Jon Nodtveidt wants to disagree with you on the image thing....and it might not work so well to go in questioning his sexuality.   And since when has real metal been about image? Support music, not rumors.

To the OP, and back ontopic:
Shooting live footage is only as expensive as you make it. Robert Rodriguez did El Mariachi on less than 7000 USD, nearly all of which was spent on film, developing, and transfer. This was for a total of 25 rolls of 16mm film for a feature-length movie; for a five-minute music video, if you know what you're doing, you could quite possibly shoot everything in two to three rolls. This is where AMV experience becomes useful: most of us storyboard, and it's a small step to go from storyboarding to rigorously cutting in the camera and only picking up the shots that you absolutely need, and doing it on the first take.

Of course, the problem is that most AMV editors only know how to edit; they can't operate a camera or use a light meter, or do the other practical stuff needed to shoot live. So you need to find someone who has some film school experience, or someone who wants to go to film school, needs some practice, and doesn't mind making their learning experience part of your promo pack.

Well genstarwind..thanks for the offer.
Kai..thanks for the tip

About the image thing...well..of course it's important and we just made some little pics..as a non-professional band that's not something we have our interest in. Of course we know that most of us don't really resemble what is stated as a 'metal-look'

So that's also something that we are changing bit by bit...It's difficult to tell a friend to change his look and to convince them...but I'm sure (most) of you will have the ability to understand this.

However..about saying insulting shit like calling people fags...in my point of view this is going a bit beyond criticism and being insulting...of course you can criticize us(as a band you have to accept this)...but it can be done with a little bit of respect...to me the 'heavy-scene' was always a place where I was happy in because I was allowed to be MYSELF..and not someone that fitted into the group

And even if we would have stood there in pink-ballet tutu's I believe we would be more metal than people trying to label others..since we always try to respect people to be themselves and we are true to ourselves also.

Yet I have to thank you..since my bandmembers might be more motivated to change their metal image a bit more to the 'standard'

PS: Our new bass-player has long hair too (look at more recent pics)..so we are improving :P
