Adding "it's just" in front of anything can make anything seem like nothing. "it's just a cat", "it's just a t.v.". Well I cant argue with you too much since your attitude is very similar to flints.. but anyway I'm not like "OMG" because of a number... I'm doing that over a review on something that isn't even included in the video. It's like reviewing a non action flick poorly because there wasn't any action in it.JaddziaDax wrote:its still just a number

If they still haven't changed the effects field to 'no,' then I'm glad you brought it up again. They've yet to give a single reason why they refuse to simply click that option so it's a 'no' instead of a 'yes' (which prevents future reviewers from scoring a non-existent category, without changing any of the existing reviews).
Like DWP said, we can't edit an opinion. We can only delete it. And, while the opinion doesn't say much, it's hardly anything that I'd delete because of that.downwithpants wrote:derobert said he can lock the effects category from being scored. however, the mods cannot edit part of an opinion without deleting the entire opinion. and they will only delete an opinion if the opinion is an obvious personal attack or a mistaken entry. the opinion you have shown fails to show evidence of either condition, thus the mods won't delete the opinion.
Yeah, it is. On one of my videos, I did the exact same thing. That box was left checked, and despite their being no effects in the video, I got effect scores for it. Sure, I didn't want those scores for it, but it was my mistake, and I didn't think it was something that I needed to scream out to the world.x_rex30 wrote:just getting op scores for effects when I have never submitted any effect videos to the org is just plain stupid
Guess what other video messed up? Whisper of the Beast. They left the box unchecked, and have gotten 449 ops with NO EFFECTS SCORE. I don't see them complaining. You're making a big deal out of what is basically nothing. I'd suggest just getting over it, but after seeing this, I doubt that's going to happen

I can see you mistakenly forgetting to uncheck the option to review effects a prob.. but if ony few people give it a score it shouldn't matter too much because your over all score should average out because you have other effect videos, right? And for that Whisper of the beast video.. there missing reviews for something they should be getting reviews on. That's different from getting reviews on something that doesn't exist and can give people the wrong Idea about your skill with effects.. I feel I need to make an effects video now since my effects score is biased. That's what that whole I feel forced topic is about.. I guess I could forget it if I actually took the time to make an effects video and submitted it.. then that score wouldn't matter as much.. that's a shock with the whisper of the beast video.. but I bet if the case was the video had no effects and everyone was reviewing the effects.. the case would be different.

Also every other mod I've talked to see what they can do. You've always seemed to have this "your shit out of luck" attitude. Anyways.. couldn't this be a good option.

Couldn't this be an option. Not to you of course.maybe they could delete the guys op.. lock the ability to op the effects.. then tell the guy he could re-do his op..

It can't. We don't have the ability to change the FX/no-FX bit.x_rex30 wrote:Also every other mod I've talked to see what they can do. Whether we want to or not is irrelevent.
