AWA Pro - Nominee for best Drama and Best Horror

Post by Lord Rae » Sat Oct 15, 2005 11:57 pm

Perfidy

This was my first video submitted to a con that actually got nominated for catagories... well since I've only entered AWA and only a couple times I'm just pleased that I was nominated even if I didn't win anything.

Also I'm unsure why I got nominated to Horror but I appreciate the votes. Its really more of a drama/romantic video but I'm just honored to have made it past the first stage.

Also lots and lots of thanks to Beowulf for helping me out with compression. That and my hectic work schedule are the reason for the delays.

This video if you haven't seen it before is really more oldschool straight at you video than most of the videos made now-a-days... still I love the overalll effect and I'm very proud of this video.

Anime: Berserk
Artist: VNV Nation
Song: Legion (Anachron)

Anyway... enjoy.

I enjoyed this video because of the emotion in it. You had great scene choice and editing was nicely done. I enjoyed the music a lot. I have got to check the band out more.

Also I was wondering what your outro music was?

Awesome video dude ^_^!

Altough I'm not a big fan of berserk, I really liked your video. Smooth, beautiful and relaxing. Great job! 8-)
Lousy editing since 2004

Thanks! The outro was a band called Man versus Clock... They used to be called Memento but after the breakup they changed their name...

I really like this video and I think it is partially because I love the song. VNV Nation is awesome and I enjoy seeing their music used for AMVs. I also think there is a great amount of emotion in the video and it's done really well.

I got a quick comment and 2 emails about the audio being messed up. I've now checked the file on several computers and it seems to be a codec issue.

Make sure you've downloaded the latest xvid codec and you should be fine. Sorry if anyone else has run into a sound concern.
